Contribuiți la feedbackA quick S.O.Gkiosk review, because I can't remember my meal from my last visit a few years agoThe wind, oh the wind.
The white building on the top of the cliff, known to us all as the Star of Greece. The Star of Greece is famed for its' view of the ocean, being perched
We were lucky enough to be able to book a table Saturday afternoon for dinner Saturday night on the early list (6pm) but were definitely not disappointed! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with everything. We started with the special Hervey Bay Scallops which were an excellent starter to a terrific meal. I had the SA Black Angus and my partner had the Barramundi - both were excellent, could not be faulted. We finished with a taste of decadence - Dark Chocolate Cake - a lovely little finish to a most enjoyable meal. The friendly helpful staff were there to the end, even holding open the door as we left to say Goodnight, Thankyou and please come again - which we definitely will.
We visited on a family holiday and met up with some old school friends. The service is friendly and professional. I had the slow roasted belly pork which was excellent. My wife had fish and chips which featured South Australia's famous King George Whiting. Two beautifully cooked fillets served with home made chips. The view over the ocean is spectacular. When we are next in Australia we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
This restaurant is very popular, even at Saturday lunchtime. One must book to ensure a table. The service was excellent, to the point that the staff brought us 2 bottles of wine to sample. The food was well prepared and hot when served, with appropriate time between courses. The main reason for not giving 5 stars was the price, it didn't rate as excellent value for money.
