The Boat House Restaurant - PORT ROWAN

The restaurant has nice location and the terrace has a nice view to the lake. The food is just ok. The French fries and fried seafood platter suggest that the oil in the kitchen is reused over and over again, most likely more than it should be reused. It is a good place to sit for the view, but not all that great for food.

Average place, Noisy, dark, wood chairs, no cushions. Basic food. Has a bar also. Bit slow in service. On the harbour but no view.

We stop in every time we venture to Port Rowan! Great food, good menu, won't break the bank! Great service! Pleasant surrounding and a view of the water. Plus, there is a good place to get out with the dogs for a bit, sheltered areas.

Point Rowan has a limited supply of restaurants! The boat house offers both out door and return indoor! Enjoyable marina to stroll after the meal

We ate here while camping at Long Point. It was just good food, the type of food one expects at a pub. We did enjoy the beer on tap. I ordered onion rings and they were out of them so the kitchen substituted sweet potato fries. They actually were very good! I would recommend them. If you are like us and do not like to do a lot of campsite cooking, it is worth stopping here for a meal.
