La Casa Mexicana - Port Richey

Read many really good reviews, so we decided to try this place! I got the vegetarian burrito and my friend got the steak quesadilla. It was so delicious the portions are amazing and we both ended up with a box of food home! The location is on the smaller side, so usually the road it is not any place we immediately think of stopping and eating, but we are so glad that we did. If you think about trying this, please do it, you will not be disappointed!

The place does not look like much, small building and the parking is small. We have a new waitress, so she was slow. She gave us chips and salsa and the chips were hot and fresh. Salsa was really good. We ordered the volcano for two and we loved everything in this bowl. We ate it like a soft taco, with the sour cream and guacamole. You don't have an alcohol license, but they have wine and sangria in a small bottle. It was pretty good. It's 25 minutes from our house, but it's worth the ride. This was our first time in La casa Mexicana, but it won't be the last.

The food here is amazing, don't let the view of the place you're trying to throw. It's a downstairs little restaurant, but it was packed, a local favorite. Great portions, prices. All Steak items here have the best season/ sauce! The staff is always very friendly, but the service is slow, so don't go here if you're in the hurry.

It's a cold day and this soup is out of this world!!! Wow! Best I've had in quite some time!

I usually never write reviews. But this place is absolutely phenomenal. I’m completely shocked of how good this place is. Best Mexican restaurant In Florida at and I’ve lived in Florida for 15 years. They cook with pride. Absolutely hidden gem. I hope they stay here forever
