Jester Court - Port Perry

This place was terrible. we decided to go on Saturday at 5 o'clock to miss the food brush and hopefully get quite fast and get out. we wanted to get a good service. Unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. ordered app with...our drinks to make it quick, but waited very long time to get it. dinner also took a very long time to get.(DANK god we ordered an app. one of us ordered the crab cake(NIE order this here $18 for 2 cakes that tasted like the cheapest dose thunfisch. had a bite and tasted so bad could not eat anymore. When the server finally came back to check us after our meal, we explained that the crabcakes were terrible. she offered to get us something else, but we refused because the rest of us at the table had already finished our meal(this is just to show how good the service was. never saw the waitress throughout our entire meal. could have used a drink. we didn't want to wait another 40-50mins for another meal. the other meal we had wasn't that great either. the burger was not too bad, but would take a big mac over it. the bratbeef was as dry as a popcorn fold (then gott it came with au jus to get it down a bit. the chicken club had the smallest piece of chicken you could find in it. the part that was the worst of our experience when we got the bill. they did not even offer to take away the terrible crabcakes, even though they knew that we were absolutely dissatisfied with them and had only a small bite. no excuse for the terrible cake. Now I know they can't use them for anything else, but at least make a offer to remove them from the bill to please their guest and convince them to come back. that would have made us leave a larger tipp. I am so tired to go in restaurants, get in these days terrible service and then personal wein so much wait that they need bigger tips. 15% were the norm if they have great service. Now I see that 15% turned to 20-30%. not a chance I would even consider 15% with the service I received, form this restaurant. Luckily, she has what I gave her. no chance that I will ever go back to this place or recommend it to everyone. I even expressed my opinion and sent them an email from their web page first, instead of on social media. I didn't get any answers after a few weeks. what a joke, they're gonna like you. go to one of the many other port perry restaurants before they try this place.

Even though we have stopped for lunch. started well enough, friendly greeting and a cheerful waitress, not a formal place. it is a well over a hundred years old residency and was not updated. ordered crabcake appetizer and bark meat dip sandwich, both are shared. So, crabcake. Why were they brown inside? And didn't taste like a crab? Beef-dip. I've never seen more dry bratbeef, very little taste. well I had enough dip juice to moisten it where I could eat it. the pommes were ok. bill with a tee and control, $40. will not repeat. we may have ordered the wrong menu items!!! but there are better choices in this small resort town.

My friend had the chicken stable, I had the aubergine bowl. it was served with a pasta in a roasted sweet sauce. my aubergine was baked and laid on pasta. the floor of the aubergine was literally quite burnt. black and burned. If I had cooked it at home, I would have thrown it out, let it alone never serve a gas. the roasted sweet pasta was bitter, tasteless, dried and cooked with tiny pieces of raw carrot. raw carrot, I don't understand? on the positive were the drinks good and our server was very nice. not sure I'm back, and I can't recommend.

Great terrace great eating cold beer. try the wing will eat here definitiw when it is back in the city. server were super friendly.

Call for reservation, on hold for 15 minutes, hung up and called back. Drinks were served quickly because I saw the server inside. My wife asked if she could have all flat chicken wings and was told server would check. Took longer than usual for...lunch to be brought to us. Most of the wings were drums yet my wife was not informed that her request would be honoured. Didn't send them back because my meal was served. Discover that the fries were lukewarm and upon trying the wings they were tough and dry. When the server FINALLY came to remove the finished dishes she indicated that we should have told her however she never came back after serving to see if everything was OK. Her excuse was that she was new to the job. It appears that she didn't ask the cook if he could do all wings and the food had to be sitting at the pass for pickup while my fish was being made. VERY DISSAPOINTED with the service and quality of food this trip.
