Rubiras at Swallows - Port Melbourne

Met some friends for lunch at Rubira's on a cold Melbourne winters day.Were immediately warmed up by the friendly staff greeting and the very cosy fire. Apart from a little stuff up in our orders the food and service was great. All four of us enjoyed the meals. Recommend.

I had heard lots of great things about Rubiras so was looking forward to dining there. It is a very cosy pub with a gas fire burning which was very welcome on a cold Tuesday night in Winter. The wine list is very comprehensive

Cosy little pub on the corner very close to the tram line All the food was superb. Seafood was perfectly cooked

Visited this restaurant down towards The Port, easy just took the took the tram there, very surprised at how good this place was had read a few reviews ...Great service, waitress was very helpful, food was great, looked as if the locasl like it too ,advised that that it was family owned , and had been in Melbourne a long time , could say a tradition to stay in and around in Melbourne .

It came highly recommended so in turn a lot to live up too, they didn't disappoint, if anything, they exceeded my already raised expectations. I chose to have two entrees starting with the Barramundi Spring Rolls followed by Chili Tiger Prawns, if I wanted they were more than happy to amend the portion sizes so I could try a wider range, I expect to be back many more times and will in turn try other items on the menu. The table service was second to none, only improving on the overall dinning experience. Well done Rubiras
