Elma - Port Melbourne

I don’t often write reviews, but our pasta at Elma was incredible! The Napoli spaghetti was so simple yet tastier than pasta I've had at the finest Italian restaurants. The calf ragù was equally amazing. The service was friendly and accommodating, with staff who truly know the menu and show real passion for their food. I would give it an 11 out of 10!

The food was very fresh and delicious. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. As an Italian restaurant, biscotti was on the menu, and we ordered it to go with our coffee; unfortunately, it was not available. I will definitely be back!

The food didn't quite meet my expectations, but the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant.

Shame that the Great service, food and amazing layout was ruined by the extras on the bill that weren’t clarified on the menu and an $80 bottle of wine on the menu turned out to be $96.80 on the bill. 10% surcharge (which the waiter couldn’t explain) then a 10% GST charge both appeared on the bill out of the blue.. over 20% extras with nothing said on the menu or mentioned. No issue with the extras but would have thought these would be included in the menu item price like every other restaurant. Just comes across as dodgy which is a shame as it really was a nice venue with great service and food.
