Town Green Inn - Port Macquarie

Stopped in for lunch while on a short break to Port Macquarie and the food was delicious and the staff were very helpful

I turned up late in the evening. The service was second to none. The witty repartee was engaging. The three waitresses I met were smiling and just plain cheerful. They and the waiter spent time connecting with customers checking things were good. It's a big facility but cleverly set up in zones; so parts are cosy, areas are like a traditional restaurant and others a bar, there's a section for large groups and kids indoor play equipment. I had a mouthwatering steak.

What a joy to beable to sit down and relax with a glass of wine and nice meal whilst the kids play in view on the play equipment.I had the barramandi lunch special it was nice. I was a little disappointed with the kids meal $9 for 2 teeny sausages and mashed potato I thought they could have at least included a bowl of ice cream or a small soft drink for the price like most places but other then that was a nice place to enjoy a meal.

Town green in has been a staple in Port Macquarie for as long as I can remember. Family friendly, decent food, good drinks.

Very pleasant dining room with huge windows overlooking the town square, which right now is being renovated but this is temporary I hope. Extensive menu, good choices. The chicken is excellent. Wines by the glass or bottle, a range of beers. Pleasant service.
