Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by the comforting aroma of warm rice and the friendly welcome of the owners. The extensive menu may be overwhelming, but the servings are generous, which is a plus. Additionally, the briani dish comes with extra rice for those with a big appetite. Although the place may be in need of some renovations, if you appreciate authentic, freshly prepared food, this is one of the best dining options in Port Louis.

The tables at this restaurant were not very clean. They need to put in more effort on cleanliness, especially because the place is crowded and popular during weekday lunchtimes. I ordered the chicken biryani and received a fatty piece of chicken. It was a bit low on salt and the potatoes were slightly raw. I would give the food taste a 3 out of 5. The biryani was reasonably priced at Rs140, but I was shocked to see that I was charged Rs50 for a 500ml chilled Coca-Cola.
