Whataburger - Port Isabel

The service at this restaurant was outstanding. Every staff member within five feet of me greeted me and checked whether I had been assisted. The quality of my meal was spot-on, which can be a challenge at some casual dining places. I specifically chose to drive from my hotel on the beach to enjoy breakfast and lunch here because the island could really use a boost in dining options.

This Whataburger is undoubtedly one of the best in the franchise! If you ask for Leslie or Marco, you'll experience some of the friendliest, fastest, and most polite service I've ever encountered at any Whataburger. Having grown up in Corpus and knowing the Dobson family, I can confidently recommend this location without hesitation. Thank you for everything! I hope to return soon, and I trust that this review will help boost your business. The burgers were decent, and the service was okay. However, I have had better-tasting burgers elsewhere. When the waiter brought the food, I had to get up and ask for ketchup, sauce, and napkins. Overall, my experience with customer service wasn’t very good.

Now, when I come to Texas, which is rare, I have a whataburger and today I have a double with a jalapeño and a few chicken teeth and ohh, my was delicious.

Nothing special about this place. Not sure what the hype is all about. McDonald’s has better fries,Burger king has better onion rings. Freddie’s, 5 guys or Smash burger have much better burgers. I’d say…. Pass on this fast food place!
