The course is quite challenging with its narrow fairways. The staff is very friendly, making the experience enjoyable. It’s truly a pleasure to play here.

I played this morning at the Black River Country Club and was a bit hesitant due to some negative comments I had heard in the past. However, I was completely wrong, much like many other opinions circulating on social media these days. The course is in great condition, the greens were excellent, and the carts were much better than those at other nearby locations. For the current price of $42, you really can't beat this place. I hope to come back soon—especially when the restaurant is open again!

I usually don’t write reviews unless I have a really bad experience, but I felt compelled to give a five-star rating to this golf course. I've been playing here every two years, and I can honestly say I've never encountered any issues. As someone who values well-maintained greens, I was very impressed with how smoothly they rolled. Being a member of Torrey Pines in San Diego, I hold golf courses to high standards, and this one did not disappoint. If you decide to play here, you’ll have a great time. Some holes are a bit longer, especially from the white tees, making it a solid challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

Nice golf course, wooded, a little water. Ladies, not much of a break from the trees. Very confusing layout, was not always sure where the next tea boxes were, the maintenance workers asked for directions. Very friendly staff and cheap prices. Play another round at Black River CC next time in Port Huron.
