Lord Elgin Fish & Chips - Port Elgin

Had the fish with a baked kartoffel with cole Slav and a beer. the baked kartoffel was excellent and the cole Slav was exactly right. the fish was much smaller than we had expected, and it was mostly broken, although the fish was tasty and...flaky and thick. we should have ordered two pieces of fish.

Fish chips were crispy delicious! batter wasn't fat, the fresh cuts were so good. our server donna was also so sweet! would definitely recommend:

We haven't been with Lord elgin for years because of Kovid and we visited the opposite on Wednesday and just had to go back. it was not disappointed at the taste of fish and chips. delicious and not the least bit. the business is unfortunately for sale, hopefully someone will buy the business and continue to eat large foods. a must stop when they are in the port area Elgin/Southampton.

Shows the best halibut and chips dinner ever! also the claw and the rolls were fresh and tasty. if they like cake, they add a piece of their strawberry rhubarb! it is heavenly! my only tip for the personal is to double the orders as my decision. my meal was missing.

My wife and I shared a 1 PC Cod and 1 PC Halibut for lunch. I cannot describe how amazing they both were. The cod was so tasty and a good sized portion... but the Halibut was absolutely delicious! Large portion and the batter was...super crispy. I HIGHLY recommend! If the restaurant was open before we headed home (sun) we would have stopped again for some more halibut! Fantastic!
