Angelo's Side Door Bistro - Port Dover

Angelo is truly an artist when it comes to making pizza. Each pie is not only a work of art but also delicious. Last week, I ordered the "Afteros" wings and veggies pizza for a party and it was a hit. I absolutely adore this place and Angelo's talents. Highly recommend!

I'm not sure if this restaurant is still open. It appears to have been operating for at least three years. The exterior looks run-down, but it seems to have a new roof this summer. The last time I ate here was three years ago, and the food and service were mediocre. I don't think I would return for another visit.

My boyfriend and i ordered a bunch of food. we got a poutine, escargot, sweet potato fries, calamari rings, and a steak and cheese melt. Firstly, the poutine wasnt bad, but its not hard to make a good poutine. the steak and cheese melt was...just thrown together like they were in the biggest rush, and it was more bun then steak and cheese. They sell escargot for like 6 dollars, and i literally got four caps the size of quarters with my snails.. last but not least, we ordered a soup. all they had was chicken noodle soup, so i kind of settled, and i seriously regret that. it was basically all noodle with a little bit of broth, with BREADED CHICKEN chopped up and thrown in there. who in the world would do that?! not only was the food extremely disapointing, while my boyfriend was on the phone with them, the lady taking the order kept sighing and saying holy. how rude and careless could you be with your customers who are merely trying to have a good meal. hello, we are paying your damn bills!

This is the worst restaurant in Port Dover. It looks like renovations started many years ago, but were never completed.

We have seen that this place has closed most of the time that we are over. today it was open, so we entered for a quick lunch. the food was decent, the huh wrapped the service was friendly, but the place was not so busy. the beer was cold and those we talked to were nice.
