Whileaway Bookshop & Cafe

I usually don't write reviews, but I had to share my fantastic experience at this shop in Port Douglas. The service is exceptional every time I visit. Kudos to the staff for their warm smiles, friendliness, and welcoming attitude towards visitors. I will definitely be coming back for a coffee and to browse through their intriguing book collection.

It really is a great place for a cool escape for a refreshing drink and to be surrounded by the temptations of a book shop. That is just about as perfect as it gets.

This bookshop/cafe is arguably the best in Australia. They have a fantastic selection of books, including up-to-date titles, and their staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Be sure to take a break, grab a coffee or a slice of cake, and relax in the beautiful atmosphere of this charming shop.

The coffee is great and they have a wonderful selection of both books and gifts. As a librarian and book lover, I highly recommend this place!

Found this little gem on day 7 of our holiday... should be the first port of call for any Port Douglas holiday... now to read a weeks worth of books in 4 days!
