Four Mile Seafood and Takeaway

I have visited this restaurant twice. The first time, I ordered a hamburger which was overcooked and did not taste good. I decided to give it another chance and ordered the barramundi, which was good but the portion size was very small. I did not feel like I got value for my money, so I will not be returning. It seems to be a popular spot, as there are always many people waiting. Be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes for your food to be ready.

I ordered the $32 meal bundle and it tasted like old oil. It seemed like either the oil was burnt or not fresh. It was a waste of money. We were so disappointed that we ended up throwing it out and getting something else for our child.

What a disaster. I called and was told it would be a 20-minute wait. I arrived in the morning and waited 10 minutes. After waiting for 40 minutes, I asked about my order and was told it was still in the kitchen. The management was unapologetic and unhelpful. When my food finally arrived, it was soggy and unappetizing. It's not worth the 4-mile drive for takeout. I have now seen all the negative reviews and have experienced the disappointing service firsthand. I suggest avoiding this place and finding somewhere else to eat. It shouldn't be this difficult.

Fish chips for dinner was delicious; fresh and not greasy at all. Went back next day for sandwiches, also delicious. Day three we stopped for coffees; hot and tasty. Day four, some chips and milkshakes for the kids. Last night in town went back...for more fish chips. Every time the staff were friendly and gave good service. Really happy we stumbled in on the night we arrived in town.
