Hon's Wun-Tun House - Port Coquitlam

I was apprehensive ordering from Hon's after having their food at my sister's place (perhaps they ordered the wrong things) but I was desperate for some

Early 90's 5 star, around 1995-2000 4 star, 2001-2009 3 star and I'm sure now you catch my drift.

Nothing really stands out with this restaurant. The food wasn't bad overall and the service was quick. The prices were reasonable and overall, the cuisine was typically Chinese. We had the meat platter, noodles and barbecued pork with rice and they were both tasty and plentiful.

Average quality big sized portions, chicken over rice, bbq duck, hot pot, singapore noodles only ok nothing to write home about. fairly good, not great = average across the board

We came to this restaurant a few times before. Like any Chinese restaurant, we do not expect much service (if this sounds a bit harsh, I'm Chinese). We keep returning as it has good food and value. This recent visit, however, proved us wrong. The minced beef congee was tasteless, the BBQ pork buns were made with red watery goo. Perhaps we came in at the end of the day, but that's no excuse. It's not a place we'd return to.
