Rib City Express - Port Charlotte

The dining experience at Rib City is exceptional. I always order the St. Louis ribs, baked beans (the best I've ever had), corn on the cob grilled on charcoal, and roasted okra. Customers pay and place their orders at the cash register, then their food is brought to their table.

The service was slow and the staff were inattentive. The food that had been left under warming lights was cold when it arrived at our table. The pork was overly fatty and the chicken sandwich was basic, lacking in any accompanying salad or tomato. Overall, this place is not worth your time or money.

Customers must wait in line to place their food orders and refill their drinks themselves. The drink glasses are small and not of high quality compared to those at Vince's. Additionally, customers are responsible for cleaning up any spills on their tables.

The pulled boar was not really tender. all sides were very good what the buzzing, makkaroni and cheese, koleslaw was. the rippchen were tender. the young man who worked the register was very friendly and very nice.

Staff amazing, true fall off the bone baby backs, chicken moist and also delicious, celebrated our 35 anniversary lunch, our first visit, staff made us our garlic bread into hearts, what a surprise! Made our lunch very special! Thank you!!!
