Lake Street Local - Port Austin

I am from out of town and thought I would give it a try while there this weekend. The food was good-nothing to write home about. The service was amazing! Our server was Mary or Macy? I can't remember but she was AMAZING! You could tell she was very busy but the service was top notch! Its rare to get that kind of service anymore! I recommend 100

Stopped here for dinner during my trip in Port Austin. We got the buffalo chicken wrap and the bacon chicken wrap. Both were good, bar food as you would expect. The outside bar area looked so cool but it was a little chilly outside so we decided to stay inside. The free pool table is a nice amenity. Our waitress was very attentive.

Ordered cod, very good: not heavily breaded which is a plus in my opinion! Their FF are hand cut but just average. Raspberry mule 4/5. Fast, good service but most likely due to off season visit, but hey timing is everything! Don’t hesitate to stop here, great local spot.

Stopped in for a drink and was incredibly disappointed. From the street, this place looks great! Skeletons, pirates, large barrels, sassy banners, bar shaped like a pirate ship, etc. I'm sorry to say my excitement died right away.We sat outside and the playlist was some kind of all-female country love ballad playlist that was just depressing.Our server took our drink order and we ordered a side of fries to snack on, a couple minutes later she came back and asked if we ordered food. We reminded her we ordered a side of fries.Our drinks came and they were not good. We got a pirate mule and margarita and both drinks had way to much lime juice. We couldn't finish them.The fries were under-seasoned and missing any kind of flavor but were crispy and tasted like they were cooked in clean oil.We had to ask our server for napkins since she didn't bring us any.The worst part of the experience was our bill. The total on the bill was $25 but the total on the receipt was $26. I asked our server why there was an extra dollar on the receipt and she didn't know and didn't offer to fix it. Gave me the impression they charged me an extra dollar to keep for themselves.I'm sorry to say I will not be returning.
