Mamma Lous - Port Augusta

Went to Mamma Lous for the first time and it was a beautiful meal. I thought I would have the full breakfast and it was way to much, but so delicious that I had to keep eating. I also had ordered a lime milkshake and that was also beautiful. Just like the old days, with cold milk in the metal container and full to the top with froth on the top. OH Wow. I did not have to eat again until dinner time.

Love this place. Set in the Port Augusta Railway Station I can see it would have great appeal for train buffs. Great artwork of trains from the area. Loved the armchairs & table out on the platform. Food was good. Parking easy & also would be to those with caravans. Can't wait to visit again when we are next in Port Augusta.

Four big meals arrived quickly inspired my crowd to want to return the next night - very wide choice on the Australian menu

Stopped in for a quick bite before heading back to Adelaide. The food was excellent. Really not more to say, the menu was basic but what they did they did with great taste. Well worth the visit if you are in Port Augusta.

Exactly what one would expect at a country town cafe. Great quality food and drinks. Menu written on the wall and no table service. Laid back vibe with friendly staff.
