Keke’s Chicken And Soul Food

Ordered a trill n fries today. Food was fantastic. Fries were nice n hot. Burger was great. Lettuce crisp. Tomatoes fresh. Seasoned just right. Price was very reasonable for the amount of food. We will be back. Gotta try the etouffe n fried fish next time.

First time eating food from Ke Ke and will not be my last. Had the oxtails, they were tender and seasoned well. Very tasty and well proportioned. The red beans were great. Thank you. Looking forward to my next meal. Blessings. Door dash got it to me in a timely fashion.

Now, let’s talk about the oxtails—unbelievable! They were so good, it felt like legends were walking through the door. The rice underneath soaked up all that incredible sauce from the oxtails; I could have sworn I was ready to eat the bone! I had to hold myself back from devouring the whole plate when I got to the yams. Bring your mom, bring your dad (if you know him), bring your siblings—seriously, bring everyone. It’s that good!

Upon arriving, I noticed it was situated in a small strip mall alongside a few other businesses. I initially missed the sign, so I asked a gentleman sitting on a bench nearby for directions. He kindly led me to the entrance. Once inside, I was pleasantly surprised—it’s not your typical dine-in restaurant but more of a cozy hole-in-the-wall adorned with food pictures on the walls. I knew I was in for something special. I ordered the daily special: oxtails with two sides and a drink. Let me tell you, that food was absolutely delicious! I ended up eating it in the parking lot, and wow, the flavors were spot on. The oxtails were incredibly tender and smothered in a rich gravy over rice—simply heavenly. I couldn't get enough! The sweet potatoes were perfectly mashed and not overly sweet, while the cabbage had just the right amount of spice to enhance the flavor without overwhelming it. Truly divine! The strawberry lemonade was refreshing as well. I can confidently say, KeKe, I will be back to try more of your dishes! The service was efficient, and although I didn’t place my order in advance, I only waited about 15 minutes. If you find yourself in the area and craving soul food, this is the spot to visit!
