Firehouse Grill Burgers Fries Take-out

I found the burger to be quite dry and it was served without any standard condiments. I had to request mayonnaise, ketchup, and every other topping individually. The burger was essentially bare, featuring only a small amount of blue cheese and three Sarcha peppers. The fries were decent, but at $4.00, there wasn't enough to share, and once again, I had to ask for ketchup. To make matters worse, they charged me 50 cents for a cup of water on top of the $18.00 burger, and there was no warning about the water charge. For a better experience and lower prices, I could easily dine at places like Applebee's, In-N-Out, or Bob's Burgers, which even offer table service. Additionally, I had to wait over 10 minutes just to place my order at the drive-thru.

The burgers and fries here are outstanding. Don't miss the onion rings—they're the best! The lemonades are also really tasty. The reviews definitely lived up to the hype!

The burger was quite good! The fries were just average frozen ones. I ordered the western burger. The drive-thru was busy, but there was no one at the carryout window. I parked a bit further away and placed my order at the window. Overall, I’d rate the food 4 out of 5.

They signed me up automatically for marketing emails without asking. Apparently it's a feature that Square offers to establishments that use them for their POS system. That's news to me, because I've bought meals at plenty of other establishments that use Square, and had my receipts emailed to me through Square, and I've never been put on any email lists. I'm forced to conclude that Firehouse Grill does this deliberately. I didn't even know they used Square here until I got the email receipt, because they just take your card and give it back after they've swiped it.It is disrespectful to opt people into emails without consent. That is what spam is, by definition. Square shares some of the blame for making this possible, and I'll be taking the issue up with them too—but Firehouse Grill could have refrained from using this feature, just like most other places do.It's a shame, because I liked the food. If it weren't for this issue, I probably would have eaten here again. But not if they're just gonna spam me again.
