Low & Slow American BBQ - PORT ADELAIDE

Okay now if you are hungry, and I mean hungry, and really like your American BBQ meats then you have to come here! We’ve been here a couple of times now and have come back for some of our favourites. The brisket is always a good choice but the last time we went, the ribs, kransky and buffalo wings were the best! The apple coleslaw is also nice and you can’t go wrong with the Mac and cheese. Not for the faint of hearts. Enjoy the feast

Went here on a whim and boy, so glad I went!<br/ <br/ Tasty pickles served with beef brisket and pulled pork. I went for a range of sides; mac cheese, collard greens and smoked Texas beans.<br/ <br/ Omg, so full! Great service, lovely atmosphere, quick with bringing out food. **** beautiful food and plenty of it.  Had the $35 sampler more than enough food.  Staff were ultra nice.  Good price I  thought as you pay that plus more just for a decent steak in some restaurants.  Highly recommend.

Before visiting in adelaide I had a hanker for bbq. my friend had sent a website with food recommendations and it had mentioned low slow in the city. I read a bit more through the article and it mentions only takeaway. she then said there would be the original dine in the restaurant in port adelaide. as we visited a weekend, they only offered a menu for $39 a person I thought reasonable so that she went on and made a booking. there is also a selection of interior and exterior seats. fortunately we sat in the interior when it was a balmy evening. the service is wonderful and personal. because it was a meat menu, their only choices were the sides. as we read...more
