If you are looking for authentic Tuscan dishes, you have come to the right place. There is always only a small selection of dishes on the menu. The taste of the dishes is really excellent. The restaurant is quite simply furnished, but that's how it is in Tuscany. The owner is super friendly and also speaks English. The restaurant is only open from Friday to Sunday and is only open in the evening on Saturday. Mainly locals come here to eat. On the one hand, this speaks for the authentic cuisine and, on the other hand, it also explains the opening times. The restaurant has been mentioned several times in the Michelin Guide as an authentic restaurant. Due to the limited number of tables, you must reserve in advance. You can also pay by credit card and dogs are allowed upon request.

A real treat. It is always a special experience to have lunch at Cedro. Really tasty dishes, and with a wide choice even for vegetarians. The kindness and availability make everything even more special. Our fixed stop when we are in the area We highly recommend it.
I am happy a friend halfway across Europe, whose father hails from this little village, mentioned Il Cedro to us, and I tried to visit at our first opportunity. We booked a table by phone although, since we had lunch on a weekday, that was not strictly necessary. Mariangela, who oversees the dining room, made us feel very welcome and is a delight to have a chat with. We came especially to taste their wild game dishes, so we each had pappardelle with hare meat ragout, and then we shared a dish of deer meat stewed in Chianti wine. I had not tasted such flavours for quite some time. By the time we got to the raspberry pie, we were already in heaven. The prices are very decent, and the view from the balcony outside is refreshing (not least for the spirit), even on the baking-hot kind of days we had when we arrived in Italy this year.
