Ward's - Poplarville

The chili dogs at this restaurant are the best in the state. The staff is friendly and it was a pleasure to have lunch with them.

This is a fast food restaurant that is part of a local chain. Whether you enjoy it or not depends on personal taste. I like their chili burgers every once in a while, though I only go about twice a year. One reason I don't go more often is because I often see employees smoking outside the doors or sitting on the ground. When a customer approaches, they quickly rush inside, smelling of cigarettes, to serve them. It doesn't seem like they have enough time to wash their hands before handling food, which doesn't look good from a customer's perspective.

Their chili burgers are the best! Interior needs updating. It makes it look trashy and feels like the food would be unclean, even though it isn't at all. The food is delicious.

The breakfast at Wards is delightful, with fresh coffee, biscuits and gravy, and the friendliest staff with sweet personalities. It's the perfect spot for an early morning meal. We love Wards!
