Myrtle's Place & Back Alley BBQ

We stopped on our way from Little Rock. We were greeted by a very sweet waitress who we found out later was Cindy. She was awesome! Made us feel like family. The food was.... Delicious!

My husband and I stopped here to eat because it was after 2 in the afternoon and I still wanted breakfast. The staff was great, friendly and funny! Service was quick and the food was great! I also bought one of their cinnamon rolls which was big enough for my husband and I both!! And it was de-licious.

We are full time RV'ers for the past 12 years and a country fried steak is the test for good home cooking in the last 42 states...Myrtle's had absolutely the best one, bar none! Not over cooked, just right breading, great meat portion, and perfect white gravy. Stephanie, our wait person, was phenomenal! The whole staff was amazing and you don't want to miss this place! Much larger inside than it appears so don't be scared of the parking! The.Best.Ever!

UPDATE: Lunch yesterday, Doug had ham and beans with potatoes, it was delicious. I had a Rueben sandwich with onion rings, they were great as well. This place has only gotten better with each visit. A definite must with any trip to Poplar Bluff! Recommended a the best place to eat in Poplar Bluff and they are correct. We had a great meal, waitress, Tia was on it, we never wanted for anything. We will definitely return.

Great food, great prices and excellent service. Try the cinnamon roll and desserts. Yummy!
