Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Pooler

Love/Hate relationship with this place. The place is always clean, food is always good *but I almost always lacked some of my order and there were times when I waited 30 minutes for just one smoothie. I didn't go there in a while, just because, and I honestly would give the place fewer stars. But I stopped today, and fortunately it wasn't as slow as normal and Dani was super sweet! Dani was super friendly, and chatted with me and made sure I really had everything I needed. (Thank you again! Moreover, it is always nice to rent a company people who have tattoos and do not discriminate against this- so it was nice to see also.

My experience at this restaurant has been mostly positive when it comes to the food, but the wait is absolutely terrible. If there are more than three cars ahead of you, be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes. It’s honestly the slowest drive-thru I’ve ever been through. I’m not sure if it’s because the items are being prepared slowly or if there simply isn’t enough staff, but something definitely needs to change. Additionally, the employees at the drive-thru always seem a bit annoyed when taking orders, which makes it feel like you're bothering them. Overall, the food is good, but just be ready for a long wait and less-than-enthusiastic service. There is definitely room for improvement.

I had a terrible experience! I'm a regular at the Tropical Smoothie at St. Joseph's Hospital and have never had any issues there. However, during my recent visit to the Pooler location, my order took 25 minutes to arrive. The worst part was when I got my Chipotle Chicken Club and left; I realized the wrap contained only a tiny piece of chicken, half a slice of bacon, no tomatoes, and was mostly filled with Chipotle sauce and lettuce. There was so much lettuce that it spilled out when I took a bite. If you enjoy a Chipotle Lettuce overload, then Pooler is the place for you. But if you want a proper Chipotle Chicken Club Wrap, head to Abercorn near St. Joseph's Hospital. Sorry, Pooler, but I won’t be coming back!

The smoothies here are incredibly smooth, but the speed of service seems to vary greatly depending on the team members working that day. Yesterday, I waited 10-15 minutes for my smoothie, but today it was just 6-8 minutes after placing my order. Aside from that, the service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. I also want to highlight that the smoothies are more affordable than I expected. If you're considering a place to get smoothies, definitely come here. Given the size and quality, they could easily charge double, and I wouldn't even bat an eye.

Smoothies are good, but it took 10 minutes from walking in the door to even put an order in with only 1 woman in front of me. Waited 30 minutes from ordering to get 2 smoothies. I've experienced similar wait times in the drive thru as well. Only 3 people working on a Saturday afternoon.
