Sally's Tea Rooms - Pontypool

I visited on a rather gloomy day, but what I initially thought was just a small playroom turned out to be a lovely garden center—a hidden gem! There are various rooms filled with plants and greenhouses, along with Sally's tea room, which offers a fantastic view when you sit outside on the veranda, complete with the occasional sighting of a passing donkey! I was fortunate to enjoy a flat white, while the cappuccino was also quite good. The place is filled with numerous plants, shrubs, pots, compost, and even some aquatic features and outdoor lighting.

The restaurant was quite busy in December, with beautiful Christmas trees on display, an ice rink in the square, and a few donkeys around. The café had a pleasant atmosphere and offered great experiences. The staff was friendly, and there was plenty of parking available.

It was very popular on a sunny Sunday afternoon, with good parking available (almost full). The selection of healthy plants, trees, and other garden companions was impressive, showcased in the fascinating farm outbuilding and greenhouse collection. Additionally, there is a gem in the crown—a beautiful café/tea room offering stunning views of the landscape. We even spotted a free-roaming pig and donkey!

Excellent selection of plants, both inside and outside, attractive plants and garden accessories. the prices reflect the fact that this is not a chain garden center. there is also a beautiful tee shop in front of location. Exit/entry straight to a fast distance of two trams, so be careful, they need a vehicle to come here. the secret garden is very busy on beautiful sunny Sundays and during Easter/Spring-Bank holidays.

A great garden centre, they have a great selection of plants at moderate prices. Their stock is all good quality. There is a cafe which is very popular. They do not sell all the non-gardening related paraphernalia that many garden centres seem to, just quality plants and materials.
