The Barn - Pontyclun

Slow service after ordering food and paying we waited 45 minutes (for burger after enquiring with a look of disbelief and bewilderment from the staff we requested our money back and left. We try and support local businesses however this was the third time we attempted and to no avail the service remains the same, unfortunate really as the setting is nice

Out the way Gem, however friendly, kid friendly, kids play area, big beer garden!!!???????????????

Lovely food, fillet steak was very nice, as were the staff. we all enjoyed. Look forward to next time.

Worse pub lunch ever. Food took almost an hour to arrive and when it did it was rubbish! Excuses galore from grubby looking staff and filthy cutlery added insult to injury. Total lack of customer service from staff that kept disappearing when you went to ask how much longer our meals would be. Dreadful place, avoid.

Just to warn everyone. My family booked this place The BARN for family meal a month ago. Seen the request put into their diary . Organised deposit and pre order requests. Called in 9 days before meal and told it was double booked and that we were cancelled. Was an horrendous moment emotional blow. They hadn’t tried to contact us with this information. Very poor customer care .THANK god for The Penny Farthing , Llantrisant for stepping up and accommodating us and making it a memorable evening.
