Contribuiți la feedbackWe had a wonderful time at the Teddy Bear Tea and hope to attend again next year!
The Marriot’s website that host Vernon’s restaurant still advertises a Sunday brunch. What we got was a sub-par , cold and typical hotel breakfast at a premium of $30 per-person. Manager just excuses didn’t comp us for the mistake on the website still to this date advertising a Sunday brunch.
We had an incredible Thanksgiving lunch here! The buffet was wonderful. Everything was absolutely delicious, lots of different choices. Service was outstanding. Beautiful view from the restaurant. We look forward to coming back
1. I’ve been staying at the hotel all week. 2. Took my daughter to Brunch for her 46th birthday, server never smiled and was not friendly. 3. The room was freezing the manager said they were “working on it” 4. Service was very slow and it was not crowded. 5. The lobster Benedict was fishy. 6. The bacon was burnt. 7. The toast was burnt. 8. It was not a buffet brunch as advertised. 9. We were all extremely disappointed. 10. I may not return.
Read the Vernon’s menu before booking brunch the once popular and highly regarded themed Sunday brunch buffet is no longer regularly offered. Few venues in greater Jacksonville were so significantly and adversely affected by the recent covid calamity. While it is understandable the brunch buffet is gone (their resort traffic apparently collapsed and with it access to a sufficiently large and well heeled clientele to sustain the buffet) Marriott until recently made a game effort to preserve an attractive offering. Per our server, there will be a Thanksgiving Day buffet, a Christmas Day buffet (menus on OpenTable look good) but for 2023 and beyond a “mimosa and a la carte breakfast fare” brunch offering only. We had that menu today and it underwhelmed. Sad to see such a nice venue and well skilled staff so underutilized.
