Atlântida - Ponta Delgada

We had an excellent dinner at A Tasca in Ponta Delgada. Service was fantastic as was the food. We had the fresh tuna steak in a sesame seed crust and the octopus which were both cooked perfectly. We shared the honey pudding and our server recommended the pineapple cake which was absolutely amazing. The suggested local wine was so good we bought 2 bottles to take home at the airport. Terras D Lava was the name of the wine. Make reservations ahead if you can as this restaurant was booked solid on a Monday night.

Had 2 wonderful meals here so far, one lunch and one dinner. Both reasonably priced and delicious. I especially love their soup and steak sandwich. I am sure we will eat here again before the weeks end!
