Contribuiți la feedbackThe menu is very well structured and the preparations are very good and well presented... but there are mistakes that should not be made in a restaurant with aspirations... such as serving the ends of a veal tenderloin as sirloin, spoiling the dish... a pity and also curious since my wife and I touched the ends, while the rest of the diners did not. On the other hand, we ask for the pairing with Bierzo wines, which I do not recommend to anyone, and not because of the quality of the wines, but because of the stinginess when serving them, which means that you have to be eating measuring the amount that you have left to get to the next pass... once my wife asked that they put a little more and yes it is true that they put it, only to her and not very willingly. A little fair Michelin star And he said fair because it seems to me granted with great generosity, that is to say that perhaps it is even undeserved. What I want to say is that when one goes to a restaurant awarded by the guide, they are looking for a complete sensory experience, it is not only the food, but this is logically essential. Let's see. The location of the restaurant, in a pedestrian street in front of the castle of the Templars, is very good. The place is simple but nice. The treatment of friendly and professional staff. The wine list is interesting and quite extensive, but the occasional wine that is a little more affordable is missing... As for prices, I found it expensive. There are two options, either the à la carte menu (you have to choose between a reduced offer of three starters, two seconds and three desserts, which are accompanied by a starter or appetizer), or the complete tasting menu. Without drink or coffee they cost 65 or 90 euros respectively. We opted for the cheapest. The appetizer, a welcome with Japanese touches, was almost the best of the meal. A delicious broth, a sublime tempura spinach leaf and a delicious jerky croquette. Already tucked into the first course, I was surprised that all three (we ordered all three options) came in identical bowls. Everything was very good (the risotto was superb and the interpretation of the Berciano botillo was very good). For the second course we took the meat ... which was good but below expectations. The desserts are good (the excessively sweet chocolate one in my opinion). In short, all good but we expected more and we were a little disappointed. The prices are star, the variety, offer of dishes and cooking level... I'm afraid they are not enough...
