El Castillo - Ponferrada

Fairly large restaurant of Hotel El Castillo. We stayed here and decided to have the all inclusive menu of the day which is advertised as served for lunch only but is also available in the evening. A good choice of starters, main courses and deserts. Bread and wine (or other beverages) included. The food was well prepared, of a very good quality and very tasty indeed. Because of this we decided to have dinner the next day here also. A special mention regarding the two young waitresses who were very professional, friendly and looked after us excellently

Welcoming, clean and tidy with a good restaurant. Bar wise you get given a different tapas with every drink.

Food was of good quality, very reasonably priced and included a carafe of wine. The staff were very helpful

Unpleasant experience, and unequal treatment if you are a plane or tourist-outside. the overwhelmed and non-commodative waiter. blonde when you bring me the river ticket. for a coffee with a croisant, I have 5 notes. extra iron, extra butter, extra jam, coffee and croisant. less bad I don't get extra bar, or extra spoon.

The property is very good, and in a good place overlooking the castle. The deal is very good and the very nice guy. The food is very good. I recommend it to 100
