Our surprise was when they brought us the skewer, a mini bowl with 4 potatoes with aioli for two, we thought that they simply gave worse skewer now, but we realized that on the table next to us, three people were given a plate of potatoes with brava sauce and skewer aioli... It is clear that the proportion is not correct. Sad that because of these details they end up losing customers.
The truth is that I have already stopped 2 or 3 times to eat at this place. The food was very good, a 13.50 menu that offers a lot of variety and good quality, but the best of all is the service. One day, my partner and I stopped quickly to eat since we had to go to a breakdown. One of the waitresses, seeing that we didn't eat dessert or coffee, made sure to give us some French toast quickly so we could take it to eat on the way. I explained that it is seen in very few places and it is appreciated. Recommended place to which we will surely return.
Local with good atmosphere and rustic decoration. The treatment and service is excellent. It has a weekend menu with 5 starters, 5 seconds, drink, dessert or coffee for €20. Ample portions and the food is tasty. It has a terrace.
Menu of the day for €20 with quite a variety. Abundant dishes. The black rice with shrimp was very salty, in my opinion. The cured meat dish was a little lacking. The cheeks were 10 and the ham and cheese cachopin was very good. What I liked the least was grandma's cake; It had little or no cookie and the bottom part did not look like chocolate. The tiramisu is very delicious. Very friendly staff, I recommend it!
As a good lioness, on my dome route through the city of ponferrada, I could not miss the restaurant house olego, located in the famous Fernando Plaza miranda next to many other bars and restaurant, so in my opinion its location is great as while you are going to tape here you can follow the route. although last year it changed owners, its style and good to do has not lost it. it has a wide menu of picoteo where I can choose any of so specialties like: although I have to make special mention of so fish and seafood like: shrimp on the plate, razors on the plate, zamburiñas, chipirones, octopus to the Galician, mussels in salsa, etc. In my case I have been many times of dolphin and your kitchen is quality homemade, although I would highlight your meat to the stone and so desserts that were delicious. It has even organized a tasting club to promote the wine culture of ponferrada. on the outside, they usually put a small terracotta with a couple of tables for people who smoke, and to avoid getting cold in winter, a stove is usually put. The lid depends on the day in my case the last time I was put on fries with ali-oli and chorizo in fried rages. So you know another bar for your ponferred tape list.
