Tony's Pizza - Pompton Lakes

I grew up just a few blocks from Tony's Pizza in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, and I'm so happy to see that it's still around! It was always a special treat for us kids to stroll down the street to grab two large cheese pizzas on Friday nights!

I absolutely love the food at Tony's! I've been dining there for over 25 years, and it has always been fantastic!

Good food but prices went up markedly, for a no frills neighborhood place...

I’ve been a resident of Rockaway and have been visiting this restaurant for years. Honestly, I haven’t tried the Mexican food; I always go for the calzone or chicken roll along with a Caesar salad. The reason I keep coming back is that they make the calzone and chicken rolls fresh to order. It does take about 15-20 minutes, but it’s absolutely worth the wait because they are huge and fresh! Their Caesar salad is also quite delicious. I really appreciate the portion sizes; they are enormous, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. The head chef, who now owns the place, has been there for over two decades, if I’m not mistaken. He took over from the previous owner and added his own unique touch. It’s an amazing spot, and I’ve been coming here for over 10 years.

Amazing Mexican food! I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Nacho Supreme and the soft-shell chicken tacos, and they were fantastic—delicious, hot, and fresh. This was my first visit, but it definitely won’t be my last. There’s street parking available and also free municipal parking in the back.
