Orchid Cafe - Pompano Beach

Outstanding Thai food. Light not overdone. Food was fresh and well blended.

I've been eating at Orchid Café for more than 5 years and have never had a bad meal or poor service. They've even catered for a party of mine.

Every year we return to the Fort Lauderdale area and make a point of eating at the Orchid Café. The Luncheon specials are great. My wife likes the salad with their peanut sauce dressing. The specials come with soup or salad. Probably the best Massaman Curry we have had and the sweet sour is fresh meat and vegetables with a taste sweet sour not like the Chinese style sweet and sour. It is the best Thai in the area.

I have been eating here regularly for a couple years. The service is always excellent. The staff is very hard working, and you can tell that they love their job. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. If you go for lunch, it can get crowded around noon. I have seen a line out the door on more than one occasion. The quality of the food, in my opinion, is hard to beat. I have visited other Thai restaurants in the area, and haven't found one yet that I like more. The dishes they serve are always consistently good. I have never received a meal there that I didn't love. I have tried quite a few different items, and they're all top notch! I recommend the spring rolls they are hand made from scratch. Also, don't miss the Tom Yum Kai soup it's also made to order, and you can tell! Overall, I consider this restaurant to be a hidden gem. If you like Thai food, and haven't tried this place, I recommend that you do.
