Nelson's Diner - Pompano Beach

I give 5 stars to every diner who has Elvis on the wall and smoked salmon on the menu. The service was very good and my coffee cup was always full. I also like the decor and the different seating options. Exterior, stand, table and counter area with open kitchen view. Update. 3. Visit and 5 stars. The pancakes and they were excellent. Really, everything was high quality. From grilled biscuits to smoked salmon, you cannot get a better breakfast.

Nelsons as a diner can be overcrowded and there are good reasons why the diner food is pretty good. They are able to make many combinations with pages/meat. This is the place where many regular guests are. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. There are some outside restaurants that are easy to miss because it is on the side.

Standard greasy spoon with breakfast and lunch. Full place is very 1950s with Elvis decor all around. There are also outdoor seats with a small table at the front and some tables on AstroTurf at the side. Eating was solid diner food with many options. Your pancakes were great!

Large little hidden gem – a 1950s dinner with kitschiger Americana on the walls. Food came great and was fast. Will definitely be back!!

This is a nice diner for good food. We sat outside because there was a wait for the inside. Outside we sat by the fan which was great for this FL heat! The pancakes were my favorite, along with the biscuits and gravy . The hash browns were fried with just enough crispy all you have to do is add a lil salt and they were perfect! Overall we loved the food. The waitstaff was good the only con was the nasty hostess! She was rude from the time we walked into door and when she sat us at the table. We almost left because of her but I’ll glad we stayed to experience the good food!
