Contribuiți la feedbackThe pupusas are excellent, but it's best to enjoy them right away while they're hot. I tried the loroco variety, and they were delicious. The yuca fries were decent—some of the best I've ever had—the texture was just right, although they could have used a little more salt. The simple baleadas were average. I found the plantain empanadas to be unremarkable; I was surprised that they didn't have a dough wrapper. The neguados were not to my liking at all when fresh, but they improved after I brought them home and refrigerated them, as they softened up and the cane flavor became milder.
I really wanted to leave a positive review for this place, but unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. If you're American and don't speak Spanish, you'll likely be treated poorly. The waitress frequently checked in on the Latin tables, but completely ignored ours, not even once! We had to keep calling her to get her attention. As for the food, it was just mediocre—nothing special. If you're in search of good Salvadoran cuisine, I recommend driving to Pembroke Pines instead. Overall, it was not a good experience.
The food here is excellent! The white rice is not at all sticky, and the red beans are fantastic. The entree was perfectly complemented by corn. The hot sauce is quite spicy—almost too hot for my taste—but it has such good flavor that I couldn't stop eating it. The guisado was cooked to perfection; it was truly amazing!
Have been on 3 ocations the food is good but it takes up to 40 minutes just for a bowl of soup they are never really full either only food for pick up is ever ready I Would give zero stars if it was available they just take way too long to do the simplest of foods last time I will be going there today I had to walk out after 30 minutes waiting for two taco plates
I walked in to grab a quick bite like an empanada or something similar but ended up dining in. The place was full, so the food had to be good! They were playing a soccer game on T.V. and lots of families were enjoying lunch. For drinks we had passion fruit juice and horchata, I didn’t care for their version of horchata but their food was delicious. I started out with a chicken tamale. It was moist and flavorful I just wish it had more chicken inside. We also ordered a whole red snapper with rice, beans and tostones $16.99) which was enough for two of us. It came with spicy salsas and pickled veggies. We throughly enjoyed our food and will definitely be visiting again!
