Dos Amigos - Pompano Beach

I always feel bad giving a poor review but I look to Yelp a lot so I need to be honest. I will start positive the salsa was delicious, the place is small and cute. Appears to be family run. That is where the problem start. There was not enough staff and the 2 women seemed very overwhelmed. The restaurant was only half full on a Friday night. The staff was friendly but the service was so slow. I did not have a drink so I can not comment on the margaritas but they looked big. I'm giving them only 3 stars because the food was just bland. I got the trio fajitas the chicken had no flavor and the steak was over cooked. We ordered tacquitos to start but they came out with the dinner. At least it was not expensive.

Out of towers.... Found here on Yelp.... OMG! So good. Wednesday night at 6:00pm.. Waitstaff very attentive and welcoming. Good food...very authentic and fresh. Burritos and tostadas with Churros for desert. Such a nice relaxing evening.

If I could give more stars I would Excellent food and service. If you're looking for Authentic Mexican food made with authentic Mexican ingredients this is your place. Drinks are amazing ... Very welcoming environment and family owned. Top notch service and princes are realistic. Definitely our new place after the beach! Delicious !! Recommend Dos Amigos for sure !

Tried it out because of the reviews.. but it made us sick. I recommend going to another place.

Probably the worst Mexican food I've had, in my life. Not because they're busy or because of COVID. There is just a serious issue with their quality of food. Shrimp tasted defrosted in microwave. Burrito was dry and inedible. Salsa was watery. Steak tasted burnt and had way too much cilantro. Rice beans tasted old. So disappointed, 2/3 of us couldn't even eat our food. Still received an $80 check and no one asked why our meals were untouched. Will never go back.
