Contribuiți la feedbackI've been here now easily over 20 times within the last couple of years... I may not leave a review every time, but quality and service never go unnoticed.... Been here for brunch a few times, mostly dinners, and now for lunch. Conclusion: don't eat here before 5pm My lunch and brunch experiences have been sub par. This restaurant has a more upscale concept than your typical fast casual restaurant and especially your typical charbroil burger place. They have a full bar, they have waiters, they have a more diverse menu with higher quality items like halibut and steak frites, they have a very nice dining room, and the prices reflect this. But in today's competitive environment, when you can get a burger, fries and a beer at Chili's for literally $15. You need to step your game up. Unfortunately, today the service was lackluster and did not reflect the restaurant's goals. Our waiter, who seemed either spread thin or totally unconcerned with us (either way not what you expect when you pay $17 for a burger), was slow and not anticipating simple obvious things like refills or napkins. The kitchen seemed backed up with what seemed a normal, not too crazy lunch crowd. The food was super delicious, as always, sadly it was just overshadowed by slow, unimpressive service. In this game, you need to bring it every day! Looks like today was not Chase's day.
When I first walked in the greeting was strange not very pleasant, my server was great the steak was ok for this to be local it's perfect, I sat alone and sat in the bar area I wanted a booth I was told they couldn't do that, but if your alone and want some quiet time the bar ain't it and if they told be they couldn't it in the main dining area maybe ask someone else and they will hope anyone enjoys this place.
Came here on foot and it was difficult to find the entrance until we figured most people come by car and would enter on the parking lot side. No hostess for about 7 minutes until a busboy said someone would greet us shortly, then she came and acted surprised we were there waiting. Not the best first impression, but the rest of the evening was mostly great. Festive decor, soft 80s music playing in the background, both were welcoming as we entered. TVs by the bar with the volume off--tolerable, but then again if you're known to the locals as the best date place around, be confident and lose the TVs. Our server Justine was enthusiastically welcoming and helpful. We started with brussel sprouts and a blackberry mule, paper plane, and Shirley Temple. All very tasty. We ordered an apple Cobb salad, a cheeseburger salad, and a crown roast pork. All the entrees were delicious, generously portioned, and satisfying. No room for dessert. Maybe next time. The chocolate cookie skillet sounded promising.
FIRST visit: Dark, classic 'ol school vibes restaurant serving good fares; great place for groups or date night FARES feasted on: Apps: Cauliflower, Truffle fries Steak with frites: inhaled my dish, medium rare was as expected and hit the spot Brunchfest Burrito: ginormous and delicious Chix Waffles: unfortunately while large portions, the waffles were drenched in syrup and too overly sweet (good idea would be to serve syrup on the side); chix was good and their whipped black pepper butter was freakin yums Avocado Toast: great option for vegetarians FRIENDLY service: Yes FRESH air seating outside? N/A FAIR pricing: Yes, definitely FEE processing: None. Accepts credit cards FREE parking: Yes, small lot but lots of other free parking in Old Towne area FYI: Great dining choice if you 're in the mood for classic American fare (few cute shops in the area), they even have private dining room option upstairs FOUR 1/2 stars '
