Pizzeria L'ultimo Spicchio E

Just returned from this place BUT IT IS NOT A RESTAURANT!!! It is a takeaway with some tables outside (and inside that you can sit at and eat your pizza. You will even get table service but, be aware, you will be the last in the queue! It took nearly 2 hours to get our pizzas (with the table service and every time I asked, it was always 1 minute away. Take away orders came and went, whilst our 3 young children were getting hungrier and very tired. After confronting the very rude owner, he pointed to a tiny sign on the counter that translated as “table service not included” and said he would serve takeaway orders first before the tables. Not quite true as other tables (presumably friends/family had managed to get served before us despite arriving a considerable time after us. Make sure you ask for the pizzas to be cut/sliced, this is something that they tend not to do. I asked for this on ordering, and when the pizzas arrived unsliced, I was passed a pizza cutter to do it myself, (the owner making a point on the “service” I think! These are the best pizzas in Pomarance at a very reasonable price, and should deserve the full 5 star rating but unfortunately, the service waiting time (not the staff and the owners very rude attitude has brought the rating down.

Great food, clean and polite service. Excellent value. Perfect for what you would expect in the location.

Very nice pizzas with prices starting at 4.5 euros and in the heart of Pomarance's small evening life.
