Aromas Gampola - Polkumbura

The restaurant was very small and the sub sandwich didn't have enough filling. It lacked a special and delicious taste. I am not satisfied with the amount of money I paid for the meal.

We ended up here by accident because we were driving by Tuk Tuk and really craved something to eat. It doesn’t look fancy or anything, but their food is delicious. Only local food, but so worth a stop! Specially cause it was so incredibly cheap and so much food that we ended up eating the leftovers for dinner!

This,in my opinion, is a hidden gem of a restaurant: wonderful ambiance, delightful service, piquant dishes and a very accommodating price range. This deserves more recognition!

Visited as a guest in the Aroma restaurant for lunch just today. We were entertaining friends from Colombo, and enjoyed our ocean side table. We chose to stay indoors to enjoy the air conditioning . I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful waitress, we had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency.

We stopped for a late lunch on our way from Nuwara Eliya to Kandy. The new owner, who just arrived from Jordan, plans to improve the menu for tourists like us. He was friendly and accommodating, even willing to prepare items not yet listed on the menu. For example, my son wanted the KFC-style chicken mentioned in the only previous review, although it wasn't even on the old menu. The owner made it for us. We ordered nasi goreng, noodles, chicken wings, and Singapore noodles, all of which were delicious. The prices were also reasonable.
