Joey Tomato's - POINT PLEASANT BEACH

The pizza and service are outstanding. If you have a strong appreciation for pizza, this is definitely the place for you.

My wife's favorite pizza spot in Point Pleasant is always a hit during the summer. The pizza is delicious, and they offer a great variety of ready-to-eat slices. However, I've noticed that the prices have really increased over the last two summers. I understand that rising food and labor costs affect pricing, but it's the only reason I can't give this place a full 5-star rating.

My friend and I took our kids out for pizza on Tuesday, April 19, during spring break. Last summer, my friend introduced me to the delicious pizza at Joey Tomato’s, and I had been eagerly awaiting the chance to return to the shore and have some fun with the kids at Frank's arcade. Upon our arrival at Joey Tomato's, we were warmly greeted by a woman with short blond hair. I ordered what I believe she referred to as the "Slice of Heaven." The pizza featured a crispy crust topped with perfectly melted cheese and generous slices of tomatoes, truly living up to its name. My kids had a great time cutting their mushroom slices. I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive after reading some mixed reviews, but we ended up having a delightful experience. We're already looking forward to coming back when the kids are out of school!

When we cross the area, we always stop for Joey's pizza, diving or going out. Sauce is good with the cheese. It's right on the boardwalk, so you pay top dollar. The food prices also rise on the boardwalk. big cheesecake, a soda, costs about $35. $28 for a pizza pipe is above average, but again, it is the boardwalk..
