Contribuiți la feedbackDan was our server, we also had Dan once before. BOTH times he exceeded our expectations. The filet mignon was mouth watering and the rest of the meal equally delicious. Kudos to the Manager, Chef and Staff.
The place is nice, staff was good except one part. About half the table was happy with their food, half weren't (group of 8). Personally very disappointed in the ribeye, I don't know how a ribeye gets fd up it literally stands on its own but not being cooked at the temp I asked for is probably the main thing.Also, they bring you a pallet cleanser of sorbet with champagne. I think we were all talking and not paying attention but I never heard anyone say champagne. I've been sober almost 5 years and take it seriously. The first time in all my sobriety I get blindsided by alcohol. Not happy. I told the manager at the hostess station and she didn't really even seem to care.
Through all our stays at the Boomtown hotel, this was our first time trying the Boomtown steak house.It was a great experience. The ambiance was shiek yet subtle, meaning you were ok in casual wear or a suit or dress for the ladies.The service was first class. Our server Greg was gracious and attentive. We did not want for refills on our drinks, and he was just as attentive with our food and appetizers.We ordered brussel sprouts that were sauteed and cooked in a balsamic vinegar, bacon and Sriracha. The cooking method insured the brussel sprouts were crispy and light and absorbed the amazing flavors.Between the appetizers and main course we were treated to cleanse our pallet withe raspberry sorbet with a splash of champagne.For the main course my wife ordered the chicken Marsala with a baked potato and steamed carrots and broccolini. The potato was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were also well cooked and presented in a pleasing manner.The chicken Marsala was tender and the mushroom sauce was thick tasty smoothening the chicken breastI selected the seafood fettuccine. The sauce was amazing and the serving huge. The bowl was filled with fettuccine, shrimp, fish and shell fish. It was so delicious that I had to take home the left over sauce, so I could finish it with our own pasta. We highlighted the meal with a white Italian wine prosecco .For dessert we selected the cream brulee, tarimusi cake and espresso martinisIn all a fantastic dining experience.We will return. Parking: Plenty of parking, but I believe that patrons may have a hard time finding handicap parking. In my learned opinion not enough handicap parking spots. Wheelchair accessibility: If you have disabled family or friends transversing the parking lot to the steak house maybe challenging, especially in winter conditions.
If you are going to spend 100.00 on burger and fries plus halibut with pasta noodles and vegetables and a couple of drinks it should be perfect. It wasn't. The halibut was a little dray and chewy. Vegetables were olive green. L asked for medium for my burger and it was medium well. It my opinion it would have been better to go to another place if you want fine dining quality food. Extremely disappointed and I will never eat there again. Not for those prices
Best meal we’ve on this trip to the US. Would make a point on another visit if the chance came up.
