Subway - Pocatello

The equipment is extremely dirty. It's clear that the soda machine hasn’t been cleaned in weeks, and there's dust all over the counter. My order was prepared correctly, but they didn’t even melt the cheese properly. In the area where the food pans are stored, it’s visible when they switch out the pans. They touch their faces while wearing gloves and then immediately handle knives and prepare food. There’s broth sitting out in a walkway, and the wash basin is unsanitary. I haven’t been here in a while, but I would feel embarrassed to work in such conditions. There’s no way they would pass a health inspection.

However, a fair warning: they don’t really have a dedicated vegetarian sandwich. That said, they do come up with some delicious alternatives that worked well for my partner, who wasn't in the mood for meat. Just keep in mind that they take their time preparing the food. If it’s busy and you’re in a hurry, it might take a minute or two longer than expected. We parked and waited in the car for about 10 minutes without being approached, but it was worth it for such great food!

I then asked who the manager was, and the girl seemed clueless. I ended up calling the owner to report my experience. All he said was that he acknowledged that the employee was terrible and would be fired, but they just didn’t have enough staff to replace her. He didn’t apologize or offer any solution—just continued to talk without providing any real help. I strongly advise against visiting this location; their customer service is severely lacking.

Customer service ever! I was sitting in the driveway for 10 minutes when I watched the workers in the inner, to serve the other customers and ignore the running gear thru. other cars came after me. No one came over the intercom to command. after 15 minutes I went through to get in. when I asked the hired person why they ignored the drive, they said it was closed (in a totally ignorant tone). there was no sign on the menu that it was closed. When I asked them why they didn't come to notify the cars waiting, they wanted to tell me that I could just come in for a stupid wise way. I asked who was the manager there, and the girl was a complete idiot, she said. So I called the owner of the load to inform him about the incident. the only thing he says was that he knew that she was a terrible hired and she would be fired, but they hadn't had enough staff to finish her. He never apologized, he never offered a solution. just talk more. do not visit this location, they could take care of the customer service less.

The young man there was working alone. I made an online order the lobby was closed when I showed up. He had my food already was extremely nice! He deserves a raise! Especially working all by himself like that..
