West Hoe Fish Fryers - Plymouth

I am quite picky when it comes to fish and chips, but let me tell you, this place is amazing! The batter is crispy with no sogginess, the fish is delicious, and the chips are just the right amount of crispy without being too hard to pick up with a fork. The gravy is tasty and the crispy, broken pieces of Marsala on top are a nice touch. I highly recommend this place!

This cozy little restaurant may only have a few tables, but the fish and chips are absolutely delicious and the service is friendly. The fish and chips are freshly cooked, not reheated, with a light and crispy batter, perfectly cooked fish, and chips that are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Definitely worth a visit!

We decided to try the local fish and chips on our way back home. The restaurant must have their priorities in order because the haddock chips we had were excellent. They were clean, piping hot, and very flavorful. It was a great start to our journey back. Cheers!

Excellently freshly cooked fish and chips. busy, expect a wait. a few tables available to eat, less than before, the great majority of people take away.

They do yummy fish and chips, and also battered black pudding which is very tasty. The staff are lovely. I highly recommend.
