For our main course, we each had the double cut lamb accompanied by sides of lobster tails and scallops. While the main dish itself was exceptional, it lacked the robust flavor we expected for a double cut lamb at a steakhouse.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The dinner was fantastic, particularly the steak, but what truly made the evening special was the bartender. I think his name was Johnny B., and he crafted the best drinks I've ever tasted at any restaurant or bar. He is knowledgeable, funny, and clearly excels at his job. I don't usually write reviews, but this guy really made our group's night unforgettable.
The terrace at Five is truly charming. A friend and I had lunch there, and while the pleasant weather contributed significantly to the atmosphere, the decor and the spacious table arrangement created a peaceful and inviting vibe. We both chose the beef tips, which were incredibly tender and served in a delightful mushroom sauce. To finish off our wonderful meal, we indulged in a triple gelato sampler for dessert. I'm surprised this place isn't always packed, but I'm certainly grateful for the calm.
Came in this morning for Saturday brunch, we sat out on the patio, and it was really pretty. The hostess and waitstaff were friendly, but the service was extremely slow. Food took forever and it was not busy. I asked for my steak to be medium rare, after waiting for 30 minutes it came out, medium well, and we didn’t have to wait for a new one. also took us way too long to get our card back so we could leave. Not impressed. Maybe needs to be staffed better.
We went to Five for our anniversary. The staff and food were outstanding. I hope you are lucky enough to have Hope as your waitress. She is familiar with the menu, made great suggestions, and regularly stopped by our table to check on us. We will definitely be back. Thanks to Marie and the staff for a great experience.
