This place is awesome. We stopped by on a Saturday around noon after driving through downtown Plymouth looking for a sandwich shop/cafe/etc. We had no idea of what we walked in on. Very personable and attentive staff, nicely designed restaurant, and amazing food. We had to try the Mid-Day Mushroom Cigars (crimini, shiitake and oyster mushrooms, fresh herbs and goat cheese wrapped in phyllo) and honestly, I 'd order these every day of the week if I could. There is a reason these have never left their menu since they opened. Next we split the Taste Burger (bacon jam, goat cheese aioli, arugula, mushrooms, alongside some truffle-rosemary fries). Also very good and the fries were addictive and crunchy. Absolutely going back the next time we are driving through. NOTE: Only on weekends do they offer lunch.

So disappointed, not worth the money! My boyfriend and I are locals and have been wanting to try this place for some time now. We both opted for the 5 course Pri Fixe Menu for $95 each and wine. We were so let down by the lack of flavor and service. Our waiter only checked on us once and that was to see if we wanted to go boxes we didn't finish the duck or tuna because it was bland. Even at that point he didn't bother to ask how our meal was.. If I'm going to an upscale or fine dining restaurant I expect the waiter to be there at every course to check in on us. I can say that the meals came out and a timely fashion, the plating was nice, the wine was great but that's hard to mess up when you're in wine county. Overall the food was boring, bland, and the service was subpar. I won't be recommending Taste to friends or family. I would suggest you skip this and make the trek to Sacramento.

Best burger and fine dining after a day of tastings nearby Shenandoah. The bar is a cool spot with good service and well prepared drinks.
