The New World Tavern - Plymouth

The food was average, typical of a bar menu. However, the entertainment was fantastic and the experience of sitting next to the open windows on a nice day made up for the meal.

The food and drinks are of good quality. Live music is featured regularly.

This bar in downtown Plymouth has a somewhat run-down atmosphere, but it's the only one that requires a cover charge to see bands play. Other bars like Cabby Shack and Proof 22 usually have better bands and a more enjoyable atmosphere, without the extra cost.

First time here and I enjoyed it. The food was good and the staff was friendly. We will be back again!!

Good bar for a couple of brews, conversation with friendly strangers and evening entertainment. Live music by local musicians, Trivia on Wednesday and other special events. I'm not a fan of their food, though they serve plenty of customers while I'm there. Give it a try; lots of beers to choose from.
