Panda Express - Pleasanton

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant, primarily due to a staff member named Kelly. It was my first visit, and unfortunately, I won't be returning. When I inquired about the different entrée and side options, she laughed at my questions instead of assisting me. This lack of professionalism has left a negative impression.

Are proper food safety procedures and training being followed at the Panda Express in Livermore? What about the risk of foodborne illnesses such as Hepatitis? I witnessed an alarming incident that demonstrated a complete disregard for hygiene and public health at this establishment. An employee, the only person serving food behind the glass shield despite a long line of customers, took leftovers from her friends. She used the tongs from the large pot of noodles to scrape leftover sauce and partially eaten noodles into the trash. Then, without changing utensils, she used those same tongs to serve fresh noodles into the containers that had just held the leftovers. She continued to serve customers using the same tongs that had been in contact with both the leftovers and the plates from previous customers. When I confronted her about it, she denied it and lied. I tried to speak with a supervisor, but I was informed that there was none present at the store.

Just had the best dining experience at a Panda Express so I’m going out of my way to write a great review.+Food quality was excellent+Staff were attentive and carefully packed food as if they were packing for their own family+Atmosphere was great with music set a right volume (not too loud)+Dining room temperature was literally perfect (A/C cranking at max volume) and inside was a cool 70deg while outside was baking at 95deg+Bathrooms were well stocked and sparking cleanThis is probably one of those rare moments I’ve had a fantastic experience at a fast food joint but, seriously, well done.

The staff here is really friendly, and the place is very clean. It was busy during our visit, but the line moved quickly. Parking can be a challenge because it’s not monitored, and many people park here for the nearby outlets.

I never leave negative reviews but I need the restaurant to know. Ordered the family meal and the shrimp container appeared to have less than a spoon full. The shrimp was the main request for three people but after three took two shrimp there was none left. C'mon really? If someone orders a family meal the inference is large portions or at minimal, portions that at least fill the box. Did not come to even the half mark so the shrimp lovers are less than satisfied.
