Contribuiți la feedbackAfter we heard so much about this place, we visited him for dinner last week. We had to wait a bit before we got a table, because they're running out of time. Jack has a really nice outdoor seating area, but since I was a bit cold, we decided to sit inside. The place was very well done and the service was prompt. When I came to dinner, I chose the ICED TEA. The tea was perfectly cooled, but was not strong enough for me. The MEDITERRANEAN SAMPLER came to the appetizer next. The Greek sauce and the Jalapeno hummus were good, but the Tabouli did not really meet my expectations. There was a lack of salt I suspect, and did not have all the traditional vegetables that it should have. We also ordered for the GARLIC OREGANO FRIES, but they were quite disappointing. The frits were soggy and the garlic oregano taste was not strong enough. Next came in the CHICKEN ASIAGO for the main course and it was just brilliant. The chicken had the perfect crust and a very lively marinara sauce. It was served with buttered Rigatoni Pasta and seasonal vegetables on the side, which were just the right companion to the dish. A great farewell was the fact that they stopped serving their famous Veggie Burger. Not only that, but they also had no vegetarian patty that could be replaced with the current non vegetarian ones they have on the menu. The overall experience was good with a few hits and misses. When I go back, it will definitely be for the Chicken Asiago.
Three of us had lunch with jackets. I had the gyro, a wonderful combination of lamb and beef, cucumber, tomatoes, onion, tzatziki on warm pita bread. It was served with garlic organo frits. After spending a great daughter in the law and some time in Greece, I can testify how fresh, excellent and authentic it was. My wife had roasted the house turkey sandwich with homemade cranberry relish. My brother had a wonderful hamburger. The whole food was excellent as the service. My wife and I came back to dinner. I had the meat with Yukon Gold potatoes. It was probably the best meat I ate. My wife had the chicken Asiago, which was also excellent. I also had the classic Mac and cheese, a mixture of Asian mild Cheddar, sharp white Vermont cheddar and Mozzarella cheese. While I am usually disappointed in the restaurant Mac cheese, this dish was surprisingly good. The service was once again excellent. Everyone was very friendly. Busboy was also very nice and interested in how we enjoyed our meal and our experience in the restaurant. The manager also stopped and was very committed. I can't say enough about this fantastic restaurant.
Great place. You have a really fantastic spaghetti Clams. In her opinion, my wife's Mediterranean plate was great. Good selection of beer and drinks. Service was good, but not great.
I've been regularly with Jack's for two years. The owners and staff make me feel like family. I tried everything on the menu above all and everything is delicious. I can't decide between the pot roast, scampi or chicken sandwich as my favorite. Great place also for a burger. For breakfast I always get the Swedish pancakes. When I bring friends, you'll always take the food and service. I don't make it too often dessert, oh boy, but if I do!! Huge treats! Drinks from the bar are always served quickly and strongly. I love to slip a cucumber cocktail on the terrace with my pup. Some nights include live music or DJ. Jack is a treasure in a pleasant hill.
My wife and I have eaten at Jacks many times since they have opened. The service and the food have always been excellent. About half the time one of the owners has come to our table to ask us how everything was.
