La 88 - Playa del Carmen

I hop there by a recomendation of a friend, I am local, I manage a hotel. We got there, we asked if our dog could come in, they said yes but only if we took a table outside at the front, we were okay and...the waiter came and took our order. However, when we asked for water for our dog, they said no, we said that we would pay for it and even still they said no, we asked for a bucket or basket to serve water, he said he didnt have anything to serve water. And plus they didnt have orange juice! I wouldnt recommend it to my guests, finally; if you don't want dogs say no since the begining.

Small but tasty menu, ideal for either breakfast before going to the beach or just after; or just for a nice ice cream stop

Our weekly food group has recently visited. we try a new restaurant (every week there could never have been a group.) la 88 is a family restaurant and especially local as a patron saint. in the immediate vicinity of the palladium, they get some tourists tired of. sortiment eating. the food was cheap and tasty. bar was cost-effective with a good sort. service was very personal, friendly and fast. Spanish and English. codified measures at place and place.

Almost two weeks to stay the corner and that was the only place that was open near. (during the coronary days.) I have eaten here about 4 times in the evening, so this is a compound check. eating was good for me every time and more than enough. quantity I tried the fajitas, the tortilla suppe, garnelen tacos, chicken tacos and enjoyed all. Unfortunately, the only salsa they had offered was too picante for me. the service was fast and friendly (although I was the only person in the restaurant every time. Overall, I was happy with my experience and would eat here again if in the aftermath.

Our group of 6 went to this restaurant because it was close to our condo. We arrived just after 7:30 pm and there was only one other table occupied. It took the waitress over 1/2 hour to take our orders. Our meals started arriving, one...at a time, at 9:00 pm. Other people arrived after us and finished before us. We didn't all finish our meals until after 10:30 pm. There was no apology from the waitress or owner. Ridiculous! Won't be back!!
